Good ventilation flow underground is compulsory by law

Poorly installed brattices, doors and seals contribute to big ventilation losses

Brattices, doors and seals are pre-planned by ventilation Engineers to be installed in strategic areas

Ventilation crews are employed to do installations

On many mines' ventilation contractors are used to do installations, which makes it price sensitive

Installations need to happen fast to prevent work from falling behind and production being held up

Most commonly methods used tend to fail after only a few days of installations; making it more expensive and less productive
